Swiss luxury watch brand Ulysse Nardin has been known for its long-established technical excellence and unconventional approach to watchmaking since 1846. This project was a small flagship store at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

MSDO played with elements such as portholes, waves and marine inspired styling which are all part of the watch brand DNA. At the shopfront, a graphic globe was developed with the lighting designer and this sits inside the feature porthole.

The interior is elegant and tailored, much like the interior salon of a superyacht. Rich-coloured Teak flooring reminds us of a yacht’s decking. In the main retail space, wall panels are finished with high gloss white lacquer, dark stained timber and trimmed with elegant polished gold stainless steel details.

A series of small salons were created so that the customer can engage with the watches and salesperson in a more private way. Dark brown leather and high gloss black lacquer wall panels create an intimate environment.
