Revolver is a contemporary Indian grill restaurant in a converted Singapore shophouse. Executive Chef Saurabh Udinia is considered one of India’s youngest and most promising culinary talents. He’s a master of fire and smoke with an inspired interpretation of traditional Indian flavours. As if the open cooking hearth is his centre stage, guests watch him creating his exciting food using the custom-built woodfire and charcoal Bincho grills, tandoor and smoker. It was technically challenging having live fire in this space but the effort was worth it so that Chef Udinia could bring his bold yet refined dining experience to life.
Rich warm colours, textures and the mosaic stone floor pattern combined with decorative copper metal elements create an industrial aesthetic which suits the food cooking style. Dark moody finishes on the ceiling create dining intimacy. Bronze wall mirrors and rich, ink-blue leather banquettes provide a late-night theatrical and seductive atmosphere. Splashes of red-fire colour are found in the red volcanic stone tabletops and in the Scandinavian-style counter stool which is called In Between SK8 for &Tradition. The dining chair is Suite P L CU Armchair from Midj in Italy.
